(QUESTION: "DID YOU HAVE ANY OF OUR SUBCONTRACTORS PERFORM ADDITIONAL SERVICE OUTSIDE OF OUR CONTRACT AGREEMENT, IF SO PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR EXPERIENCE")
>ATM Mirror did additional work for us, and I really love the workmanship! honest price and was kept up-to-date. no hidden costs. I was even treated human!
(QUESTION: "WAS THERE A PARTICULAR SUB YOU HAD WORKED WITH THAT LEFT AN IMPRESSION (POSITIVE OR NEGITIVE)? PLEASE DESCRIBE EXPERIENCE")
>I found all of your subcontracts to be wonderful but ATM Glass in Particular left an impression. The workers were extreamly polite and kept their work area very clean and covered all floor areas, which I would expect I suppose. I mentioned to one of their workers (named Chris) that I had liked the cleaner that he used to clean my mirrors and would possibly want to purchase some- he said I could order from the office and they would ship to my home. The next day there was a knock on my door and Chris was standing there with two cans of the cleaner! He said he was "in the area again today and his boss asked that he drop them off to me". When I tried to pay him, Chris said they were "free of charge". This probably seems like a small gesture but it really made me feel like, "wow, these guys are actually thinking about me after they leave- I'm not just a lot number!". Sometimes it's small gestures that leave a lasting impression.
>I found the glass company (ATM) to be the most accomodating and easy to work with. Some of the other subcontractors couldnt meet with me outside of their work hours and I couldnt ever seem to meet with everyone the same day so I had to take numerous days off from work. ATM arranged to meet with me in the evening- which was very helpful
>...ATM was also a pleasure, understood that a new home is stressful and was very forgiving! Our glass (shower) doors are beautiful, they did a great job.

...perhaps the greatest asset to the project was the glass company, ATM Mirror, Inc- of Ossining, NY. Every aspect of this company's performance was amazing. The owner James is a true leader with highly refined communication skills and an uncanny ability to foresee how a project will progress step-by-step, even during its planning stage. This sort of ability only comes from years of experience and a true love for the work you do. All of his employees worked in great unison together, took pride in their performance, and expected perfection.
This was perhaps most evident at the railing sections at the 4th floor (see photo)- precision and incredible patience was required to set the glass and was overwhelming to all of us who stopped to watch. James observed diligently as his workers operated the machinery that hoisted glass to this section using electric suction cups -while others waited at the top to receive the glass and carefully place it into position on the stand-offs (fig. 3). The building seemed void of any sound; other than that of James carefully instructing his employees’ positioning during this phase. Each time a section was hoisted, we all held our breath. When installing glass, one always anticipates that tragic moment when the glass shatters. Given the size, application, and means of handling we almost expected this. However, piece by piece we saw our vision come together. A direct result of the confidence and expertise James had emanated. When all was done and the last piece was lifted and placed into position, James had turned towards us smiled and laughed. Surely a sigh of relief? Not for this team. They love what they do and it shows.
